Walking through Wednesday last week, a slight detour enroute to Effy from Vibe, few people aound, swarming with pivate. security. The week before, armed police with semi-automatic weapons.

Unlike local businesses, no business rates, no BID Levy. No contribution to local society.

For cheese, visit The Cheese Shop in Flying Horse Walk.

Sand dumped in Old Market Square

July 13, 2024

How to waste public money. A surreal art installation, a giant cat litter tray, lined by junk food shacks and a large bar?

I asked the locals what it was. No one knew, other than an appalling waste of public money.

One man was very angry. He told me he was unemployed and the money should be spent on helping the unemployed.

I later spoke to a nearby business owner overlooking the square. He too was very angry. A waste of public money. Either bankrupt Nottingham City Council or Nottingham BID. He added that it was damaging local businesses.
