On a recent trip to Sheffield, mid-November , Thursday the week before last, following an excellent lunch at South Street Kitchen but very poor quality cappuccino, it was a pleasure to experience an excellent espresso at Mow’s.
New cups, or at least I do not remember from my last visit.
Wide choice of guest coffee. Several roasteries I’m not familiar with.
Stunning ceramic pour over from Copenhagen I’ve never seen before. The design looks Japanese. Together with matching carafe expensive, over £100.
An eclectic selection of books and journals on display.
Chocolate I’ve not seen before, Land, and different from my last visit. Available as bars and for drinking chocolate. Checking out Land, bean-to-bar craft chocolate, paying growers two to three times the FairTrade scam.
Mow’s located adjacent to Tamper Sellers Wheel in Arundel Street.
It was then make it to Steam Yard before they closed at four.
Note: I’m at a loss why this visit to Mow’s written up twice.
