Thursday of last week, I passed by Bar Hashery in Mickelgate on my way to Divine coffee shop. I looked in, said I’d be back.
True to my word, I retraced my steps and returned.
A lovely little bakery, sourdough bread, pastries, cakes.

I would have happily purchased a sourdough loaf, but had purchased a sourdough loaf only the previous day outside Lincoln Central Market.
I came away with a feta and spinach pesto bun. Cooked that evening, fan oven 175C for ten minutes, was excellent.
Coffee was sourced from Origin. A better choice than Divine.
