I tried, an appalling waste of good matcha and good vodka.
- 4 g matcha
- 36 ml cold water
- 40 ml Belvedere Polish vodka
- 15 ml Agave syrup
I followed my espresso martini recipe, substituting the matcha for espresso.
Whisk the matcha and cold water.
Add whisked matcha , ice, vodka, Agave syrup to shaking tins. Shake vigorously.
The result was not good.
Not happy, broke one glass in the freezer.
I would have preferred iced matcha latte or espresso martini. Both of which would have been a better use of the matcha and vodka.
Will this be the next big thing? A definite no.
