roasted parsnips
salt and/or cracked pepper
dash of cream
water or vegetable stock


Add ingredients to pot of boiling water (or preferably vegetable stock). Bring to the boil and simmer. For that extra zing, you may wish to add a little cracked black pepper. Add salt to taste, also a dash of cream.

Serve piping hot with a little sprig of greenery.
