Temple of Olympian Zeus

Temple of Zeus, or Temple of Olympian Zeus, located south-east of the The Acropolis.

The Temple of Olympian Zeus is the largest of the temples in Athens.

A temple to Zeus is known to have existed on the site from at least fifth century BC.

Outside Hadrian’s Arch.

On one side, site of the firts Olympic Stadium, on the other Zappeion Exhibition and Congress Hall and the National Garden.
