Christmas Eve in Lincoln

Steep Hill

Steep Hill

By 9-30, town centre already busy.

Cappuccino and cookie in Stokes on High Bridge, the place for coffee.

Sincil Street, many shops closed. Blighted by unwanted redevelopment. A corrupt council in bed with greedy Co-op, everyone suffers.

Central Market close to collapse, many vacant stalls.

Central Library not open. No indication why not open, no holiday times posted.

Same The Collection, not open, no indication why not open, no holiday times posted.

No excuse for either Central Library or The Collection to be closed, and very bad no notice explaining why.

Walking up The Strait and up Steep Hill, surprisingly very busy.

Bookstop Cafe, would be an excellent location for Jewelia to pay, an undercroft of a Norman House.

Lincoln Castle closed. Will not re-open until April. £22 million spent on renovation. It is claimed will bring in over £70 million to local businesses. By all means safeguard our heritage, but do not make bogus claims.

Excellent lunch at County Restaurant.
