At the weekend a storm hit. Saturday very windy, afternoon and through into the night a thunderstorm. Sunday strong winds.
Today yellow flag flying, boats beached. Boats that ply fom the pier had sought safer havens.
Today, the sea was as at Playa Martinz (Puerto de la Cruz en Tenerife), good enough to surf. What people usually think of as waves, is wake from the boats.
Most of the pontoons had been partially dismantled to keep people off. One not, an exciting helterskelter ride.
