Cold and damp.

In Godalming Parish Church, a lovely little memorial for Nelson Mandela. Many people had written and left prayer cards.

I lit a candle for Nelson Mandela and my lovely South African friend Amanda, and filled out a prayer card.

On leaving the church, I noticed for the evening of Sunday 29 December 2013, they have a Celtic Service.

I walked down to the river. There must have been a lot of rain, the River Wey running fast and high.

Walking back up, into the town, looking over to the bandstand, I thought how different it looked to the summer for Staycation Live.

I would have gone straight to lunch at Café Mila, but decided to see if I could find Feral. No luck.

Café Mila packed, that and my being slightly later, no soup.

Excellent chicken pie, followed by a coconut slice and a cup of tea.

Wonderful art exhibition in Café Mila. Worth making a trip for, then try the excellent food, or afternoon tea and a cake.

On leaving Café Mila, raining.

Long wait for 71 bus. 20 minutes late, and still not arrived, I caught the 46.
