Sketches of piers on exhibition at The Keystone in Guildford.
The sketches were quite good, but very badly presented, covered in plastic, no information on either the artist or the sketches.
One was of Brighton Pier. Another may have been Brighton Pier. One was the derelict West Pier. No idea the others.
Compared with the rubbish at The Keystone of late, these sketches were a pleasant change, more’s the pity so badly presented and no information on either the artist or the sketches.

On a more recent visit to The Keystone for lunch, I learnt the artist is Lucy Collins, but nothing by the sketches to say who she is or what the sketches are of.
She sadly lacks any presentation skills and her website is bad too. A pity as her sketches are quite good. On her website and blog, you can find these sketches, but apart from saying they are part of a collection entitled British Piers, no further information on any individual sketch.
