An ampitheatre along Dionysiou Areopagitou Street on the slopes of the Acropolis.
Built in 161 AD by the Athenian magnate Herodes Atticus in memory of his wife, Aspasia Annia Regilla.
Restored in the 1950s, used today for concerts.
