I love to see street art spring to life.
Commonplace in Puerto de la Cruz, with the notable exception of Brighton, street art is quite rare in England.
It was therefore great to see a group of people in Guildford get together to create this chalk street mural on the banks of the River Wey next to the boatman.
It coincded with a cycle race through Guildford, the previous day had seen the Olympic torch relay pass through Guildford, before being taken to London for the final stages of the relay through London.
The summer has finally arrived. No rain in the near future. Let us hope this street mural is respected, and that includes by the local council, until the rains return and slowly slowly wash it into the River Wey.
Work on street mural coordinated by KingofEye, a street artist.
