It is not often one stumbles across an album this good.
Folk! Folk conjures up memories of people in smoky pubs, baggy jumpers, guitar, cannot play, cannot sing.
Andy Hull is Right Away, Great Captain! He is also lead singer of Atlanta band Manchester Orchestra and co-founder of Favorite Gentlemen Recordings.
The Church Of The Good Thief was released as limited edition vinyl – a $60 4-LP triple-album set, and a $120 deluxe edition. It sold out in four days!

The Church Of The Good Thief is stuck on the first track. Bandcamp and Favorite Gentlemen Recordings are aware but as yet have done nothing to resolve the problem.
The response of Favorite Gentlemen Recordings: We did not set it up to stream the full album. Just the one song.
This is to abuse bandcamp, which is to share, to make music available to listen.
My comments on the album are based on the one track. For all I know the rest of the album is crap.
I would strongly recommend that no one pays to download an album from bandcamp when it is abused.
