Christmas dinner always means lots to eat, good food, and today was no exception.
For starters soup of the earth.
Main coarse turkey with all the trimmings.
White wine.
Christmas pudding with brandy sauce and brandy butter.
Sadly many parts of the world have nothing to eat.
Over Christmas, re-broadcast of Martha, Meals and Malawi. Martha raised over £25,000 for a school kitchen in Malawi. All the children get is one bowl of porridge a day.
BBC World will broadcast Martha, Meals and Malawi on 26 December, Please check local time schedules. Worth watching.
Martha, Meals and Malawi broadcast on BBC Scotland and BBC News may be available on-line.

Yes, Aladdin’s Cave does still exist.
Most of the retailers have been kicked out of The Arcade. Paul’s Print Shop and Aladdin’s Cave are now in the little row of shops immediately opposite the entrance to The Arcade.
But now this little row of shops is under threat of demolition, unless stopped.
If this unwanted demolition goes ahead, Aladdin’s Cave will leave Aldershot in disgust.
